Description

Harris Stay-Silv 15 (AWS BCuP-5) is the HVAC and plumbing industry standard for copper and copper-to-brass brazing. This brazing alloy contains 15% silver, 5% phosphorus, and 80% copper for excellent flow and ductility with a wide melting range (1190°F–1475°F). The rods are self-fluxing for copper-to-copper jobs (no flux required), and suitable for capillary brazing where close fit-up isn’t always possible. Ideal for air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, and heat exchanger fabrication, Stay-Silv 15 provides strong, vibration-resistant joints and good service ductility. Use an appropriate brazing flux when joining copper to brass or brass to brass. This 1/16" x 36" rod size in a bulk 25 lb box is perfect for production and large-scale installations.​
