Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026

Humphries Inc. ("Humphries," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit our website at [YOUR STORE URL], create an account, place an order, or communicate with us. We are based in Utah and serve customers in Utah and the surrounding states.

This policy covers personal information handled through our website and customer communications. Information we process about business accounts in a commercial context, and information about employees or job applicants, is handled separately and is generally outside the scope of the consumer privacy laws referenced below.

Information We Collect

Information you provide to us, including:

  • Identity and contact details — name, company, billing and shipping addresses, email address, and phone number.
  • Account information — username and password, order history, and preferences.
  • Order and payment information — items purchased and payment details. Card payments are processed by our payment provider, WorldPay, over an encrypted connection; we do not see or store your full card number.
  • Communications — records of your calls, emails, chats, and messages with us (see "Phone Calls, Recording & AI Transcription" below).

Information collected automatically when you use the site — such as your device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and actions taken — using essential and functional cookies needed to operate the store. See "Cookies & Tracking."

Phone Calls, Recording & AI Transcription

Our business phone and communications services are provided by Dialpad, Inc., a third-party cloud communications provider that acts as a service provider (sub-processor) on our behalf. When you call us or we call you:

  • Your call may be recorded, monitored, and transcribed — including by automated (AI) transcription and analysis — by us and by Dialpad on our behalf.
  • We use these recordings and transcriptions for quality assurance, staff training, order accuracy, record-keeping, security, and to improve customer service.
  • Where required by law, we will notify you at the start of the call and proceed based on your consent; if you do not wish to be recorded, please let our representative know or contact us in writing instead.
  • Recordings and transcriptions are stored securely, access is limited to authorized personnel and our service provider, and they are retained only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

If we send you text messages, we do so only with your consent, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

How We Use Your Information

  • Process, fulfill, and deliver your orders and manage your account.
  • Take payment and prevent fraud, and secure our website and systems.
  • Provide customer service and respond to your questions and requests.
  • Send you marketing or promotional emails where you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • Comply with our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

Cookies & Tracking

We use essential and functional cookies to run the store — for example, to keep you signed in and remember the contents of your cart. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them. We do not use cookies for cross-site targeted advertising, and we do not sell your personal data.

How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only as needed to run our business, and never in exchange for money. We share with:

  • Service providers / sub-processors who perform functions on our behalf, including:
    • Dialpad, Inc. — business phone, messaging, call recording, and AI transcription.
    • WorldPay — payment processing.
    • Shipping and freight carriers — order delivery.
    • Website hosting, IT, and email/marketing providers — operating the store and sending communications you have requested.
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect our rights, customers, and systems.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not process it for targeted advertising.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services, meet the purposes described in this policy, and satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption of payment data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data. Utah residents have these rights under the Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA):

  • Access — confirm whether we process your personal data and request a copy.
  • Delete — request deletion of personal data you provided to us.
  • Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal data.
  • Portability — obtain a copy of your data in a portable, readily usable format.
  • Opt out — opt out of the sale of your personal data and of targeted advertising. (As noted above, we do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising.)

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@humphriesinc.com or call (801) 756-3566. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. We will respond within 45 days, and may extend that period once when reasonably necessary, letting you know if we do.

Appeals: If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing support@humphriesinc.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond to your appeal within 45 days and explain our decision.

Residents of other states: If your state has a comprehensive privacy law (for example, Colorado), you may have similar rights. Contact us at the address above and we will honor applicable requests.

Children's Privacy

Our website is intended for business and adult customers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-Party Links

Our site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may be communicated by additional notice.
