Description

Harris Nic-L-Weld 99 is a high-nickel stick welding electrode (AWS ENi-CI) made for production, maintenance, and repair of all types of cast iron. With a composition of at least 85% nickel, it delivers an excellent color match, high ductility, and machinable welds—making it ideal for filling holes, joining, building up, or repairing cracks in gray, malleable, or ductile cast iron. The electrode excels in all positions, can be used with AC or DC current, and is especially suitable for out-of-position welds and repairs where disassembly is not practical. Tensile strength is up to 50,000 psi. Best for non-critical or machinable cast iron weldments; for maximum strength and ductility, use controlled heat input and peening between passes.
