Description

The Harris 3/32" x 36" Low Fuming Bronze Flux-Coated Brazing Rods (1 lb Tube) offer professional-grade braze welding performance on steel, cast iron, copper alloys, nickel alloys, and stainless steel. Classified to AWS A5.8 RBCuZn-C, these rods feature a flux coating that delivers superior wetting action with minimal objectionable fuming. They melt within a temperature range of approximately 1670°F to 1750°F, producing porosity-free deposits with an attractive yellow brass color. With a tensile strength up to 65,000 psi, this alloy is known for excellent machinability, ductility, and corrosion resistance in most indoor and outdoor applications. Ideal for oxy-fuel torch braze welding, the rods require a bronze brazing flux if the coating is removed.
