Description

Harris ER70S-6 TIG rods are premium carbon steel filler rods (AWS A5.18 ER70S-6) engineered for all-position welding of mild and low-alloy steels. The high silicon and manganese content ensures outstanding puddle fluidity, good wetting action, and creates flatter, cleaner welds even on rusted, dirty, or lightly scaled surfaces. Designed for use with argon-rich gases (or 100% CO₂), these rods are ideal for general sheet metal fabrication, pipe welding, repairs, and single/multi-pass construction. They deliver tensile strengths of 80,000–90,000 psi and are used in commercial, structural, and automotive work. Each rod is 1/16" x 36", with approximately 3 lbs in each tube.
