Description

This 60-inch wide, 25-yard long carbon felt roll is engineered for outstanding thermal protection and insulation in industrial environments. Made from high-purity precursor carbon fiber (PAN), this felt offers lightweight, flexible heat shielding with resistance up to 1800°F (982°C). Its dense, low-conductivity construction makes it ideal for welding, brazing, glass blowing, or as a high-performance heat shield pad or insulation layer. The carbon felt resists ignition, will not scratch delicate surfaces, and is an excellent substitute for fiberglass when outstanding temperature protection and minimal residue are required. Suitable for protective, insulative, or filtration applications in demanding manufacturing, laboratory, or metalworking operations.
